Private flights to Davao City

Davao is Mindanao's largest city and its main air gateway: the base for Samal Island's beaches across the gulf, for the Philippine Eagle Center, and for climbs of Mount Apo, the highest peak in the country. Francisco Bangoy International is about twenty minutes from the centre and busy, with several jets a day from Manila and Cebu.

That is why the case for a private aircraft here is narrow, and worth stating honestly. From Cebu the jets take about an hour; a chartered Cessna 172 takes about 80 minutes. Davao is one of the best-connected cities in the country, and a scheduled seat is both quicker and far cheaper than a whole light aircraft on this route.
