Private flights to Zamboanga City

Zamboanga sits at the south-western tip of the Mindanao mainland, a Chavacano-speaking city of colourful vinta sails, the old Spanish Fort Pilar, and boats from Paseo del Mar out to Great Santa Cruz Island and its pink-tinted sand. It is also the jumping-off point for the Sulu archipelago and a regional centre for business and government, which shapes who flies there.

It is the far corner of the Cebu network, and the one leg where the airlines are genuinely quicker: the daily jets take about an hour and a quarter, a chartered Cessna 172 nearly two hours, down the length of Negros and across the Moro Gulf.
